This amazing zoo is home to the widest collection of species in the world (more than 15,000). This place is also home to more than 1,600 animals. Don't miss The Aquarium and the adorable Giant Panda!
This shop is a real treat and has a big selection of retro games. To top it off, the passionate owner is quite cheap and even threw in a free game when I bought a super Nintendo.
These guys serve good hummus but for me the highlight was the silky soft pita bread. Yum.
I believe this place used to serve pie at Markthalle Neun. Now they have a brick and mortar shop, extending their delicious pie offerings. Great lunch - pie with mash or sallad.
Go here to have a drink - or lunch - with a view over the Zoo - and the rest of Berlin. It's a great place, but perhaps there are a bit too many tourists - it's in a hotel after all.
This place is hard to find: to get in there, enter the elevator in Neukölln Arkaden, take the lift to the top floor and go out into the parking garage. Find the ramp that takes you to the roof. Done.
I tried the chili lemon burger. While the burger was yummy and had a freshness to it, these child sized burgers are much overpriced. 5 euro is about 2,50 too much. But plus points for originality.
