Nothing much to Avilla. Small town with one stop light. There is a library, two banks, two gas stations, a McDonalds, and that's about it.

Do not think many restraunts are in Medaryville because there only 5 restraunts. Linda's Diner, Subway, Paulies, The Peak Inn (bar), Anita Cup of Coffee (coffee shop).
Quaint little town in the middle of no where. Many antique shops, little restaurants, bars, and a dollar general. Decent elementary school. Bad coffee shop :(
Thirsty? Make a pit stop at the village tavern or the whistle stop. Nice small town bars with a food menu too.
If you're in St. John, you MUST try Pascals (sp?) Pizza. It is unbelievable! And so are their breadsticks!
Try the red barn restaurant all home made cooking and worth the wait if u go during lunch hour rush!

Great little town. Great place to live. I still cannot figure out why dandelions donot grow there.
The swinging bridge at the town park it's so cool came here as a little girl fishing and running on the bridge
