Great airport, feels a bit more like you're in a mall with lots of stores and good places to eat, you could easily kill several hours here. There's also an outdoor area so you can get some fresh air!
Very nice airport, extremely easy reaching from the centre of Cph! The prices for food and stuff are very high, though. Go for some fresh fruit, it costs few krowns.
No European metropolis is as "hyggelig" - in other words, friendly, cozy, pretty - as Copenhagen. Let yourself be guided by the LH travel report and experience Copenhagen from its most exciting side! Read more
Absolutely wonderful airport - security is pretty much always smooth & despite the airport not being massive there's a great selection of shops & cafes...just those damn Danish prices to contend with.
Best Airport in the world in my opinion, no other country comes close to the choice & variety of food/drinks & shopping topped up by the simplicity of Scandinavian design!
Best CPH secret: Directly after security, walk straight, do not turn left into duty free. There is an exit directly in front of you—slightly to the right—it gets you directly into the terminal.
Airport is very big. It's highly recommended to come in advance for your check-in and security checks to avoid problems and delays. There was a huge queue on passport control, hardly caught my flight.
CPH is extremely convenient airport with variety of food and clothes shops inside. Security is very easy and fast. Best part is that the trains connect the city and Swidden - fast and frequent trains!
All is very fast, there is no queues on check in and on security control. Also they have subway station right in the airport, so to get to city centre is super easy
If you want to avoid stress due to long queue at the airport: Buy ex EasyJet tickets, upgrade your seats so you are a plus costumer. Make sure to have fast bag drop AND security! You won't regret it!
For my American fellows....take your coffee and breakfast at the “Pret a Manger” - the coffee is organic, better and the danishes are far better than Starbucks
Coffee at Lagkagehuset is great. And spice it up with a cinnamon roll. I can also really recommend the airport for early flights and around December for all the holiday decorations. Fly safe.
T2 includes both intra-Schengen and international flights. Shops/lounges are post-security and pre-immigration. Easy to grab a bite with your friends before you have to split up to your gates.
Very nice international airport. Flights almost everywhere. I joke about it being Sweden's best airport. Nice shopping if it turns out you have spare time. Common single malts available:-)
Hang out at Joe and the Juice for some cool music and ambiance + great drinks 🍹 and a small sandwich while waiting for your next flight. [Tip to get to fast track : take out your computer, be ready]
Quite big and wellorganizedairport in the Scandinavia, bigger than others. The duty free area is really big, the lounges are scattered around evenly. Officers are the happiest and smiling always.
If you're flying SAS, be sure to check in your own bags. Self service queue is the very left one, and the line is so much shorter! You print the bag tag at the kiosks.
One of best airport and hub for all scandinavian countries . it provides easiest and simple way of navigating city and places aroud it with regional and metro connected to its airport.
Fairly large airport, but lots of shopping options, places to eat or places to get help. Tax refund counters very busy, plan extra time if you have to use any of the two, blue or green. Helpful staff
One of the best airports in the world! Great restaurants, plenty of shopping and short walking distance s! If you can use the fast-track service you only need to be there 20 min prior to boarding!
Nice airport, but when you arrive and leave the baggage reclaim it's designed in a very weird way. There are always people standing in the middle of the path.
Buy a Copenhagen card (24h, 72h, etc) and get all train, bus travel included as well as entry to museums and discounts on restaurants, sights etc. Travel essential!
A very fine airport. A quietness despite the business. Winding paths slowing your course to notice many of the shops filled with Nordic fashion over the usual global brands. Even a haircut place.
Scandinavia's biggest airport and some of the best airport shopping in Europe. If you travel outside Schengen use the passport e-gates it is much faster
There’s a 24 hourcraft beer bar between gates A and B, and a ginbar that shuts at 23:00 close by. Handy for late flights when everything else shuts at 22:00.
Copenhagen Airport - Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup is the major airport for both Copenhagen, Denmark and Malmö, Sweden.Copenhagen Airport is owned and operated by Copenhagen Airports
Food (as in sandwiches and a cake) is good at Joe and the Juice or Lagkagehuset. I'd avoid all other options. Joe and the juice also do good juices, as the name says...
If you travel with a small infant, be prepared to carry both the baby and your handluggage. They refuse to bring your stroller at the gate: there are strollers available but it can be >than 10 m walk
Modern airport. Not to big. Easy to find terminals. Some of the gates are around 8-10 mins walking distance. Tax free shopping stores has good variety. Prices are average not too competitive.
Regrettably, during the reconstruction car rentals 🚗were moved to a separate building. You have to take a bus(every 15 min) or walk around 15-20 min.Picking up a car takes around 1 hour extra time.
