Roger 💾November 7, 2016Legitimately skillful ramen from a small joint punching up to rival Japanese chains. Broth thin but immensely flavorful like a consommé, noodles have the PERFECT bounce, chashu soft and unctuous.
This is the best ramen I've had in Portland! The Shio and Shoyu are both delicious, but try the spicy Sichuan mala for something more unusual!
Customizable ramen (vegan or bone broth, noodles, spice level) that is consistently good. I’ve always enjoyed the specials! I recommend adding an egg.

- The coffee jelly is unusual and delicious! Heavy cream on top cuts the coffee acidity just right.
- The spicy miso and MaLa are my favorites. Gotta add the egg.

Natalie MarioniOctober 24, 2018Decent ramen bar but nothing outstanding. Recommend adding an egg to any ramen order. A little disappointed that they started clearing our table before we even finished our meal.
Awesome Ramen. Outdoor seating possible even in winter thanks to gas heaters.
