- Devon SchreinerMarch 4, 2016I can't believe it's taken us this long to attend a concert here. The building is absolutely stunning! We went to a FREE concert. GO NOW!
- Best venue in the Midwest. Only downside is congested exit, but that's because it's always packed!
- Kauffman Center for the Performing ArtsNovember 22, 2013Convenient, safe parking for our events at the Arts District Garage. You don't even have to go outside in bad weather! Enter from 17th or Wyandotte.Reserve a spot by pre-purchasing thru the Box Office
- Janne BavnhøjMarch 22, 2013Classic oncorked. The building is absolute fantastic. If you ever come to Copenhagen go visit the DR concert hall - it's even more fantastic.
- Andres NovoaNovember 2, 2015This is a very beautiful building! If you get coffee make sure you try the blend especially made for the venue! Check both bars to see which one has it.
- Kelsey HayesJanuary 25, 2012Brand new arts center and an architectural treasure. The lead architect for it has designed buildings in Jerusalem and Singapore. Seats 1,800 and 1,600 in two halls and has a custom-built organ.
- AstoriawinedivaMarch 12, 2012This architecture reminds me of Sydney's opera house. Just spectacular! Kansas City has done well. Can't wait to attend a performance in one of the halls. soon, very soon.
- Drinks are outrageously expensive and not that good. But the rest of this place is AMAZING. Great views, wonderful performances, solid staff, etc.
- Ramona WilliamsDecember 15, 2013We were at the Kauffman Center (Helzberg Hall) recently for Handel's Messiah. A wonderful experience. We would definitely go again!
- RyanMarch 17, 2017Pro Tip: You can order a drink before the show so that it's ready for you to pick-up at intermission.
- Volunteer and you get to see tons of the best shows in town for free!
- Liz TicerMarch 24, 2013Prepaid valet parking is TOTALLY worth it. $7 and I walk from the garage or $15 and I walk in the front door? $15 please!
- Taylor O'NealJuly 15, 2013The second floor bar is far less crowded pre-show than downstairs since people don't expect it to be there if they haven't been before. Tip doesn't apply to intermission when they figure it out.
- Handel's Messiah is a must see. Usually end of November...3 performances. Just do it.
- Chris ShawFebruary 7, 2013Try to photobomb yourself with the glare from the large windows on the main level!
- THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!! (even the MoMa is jealous!)
- Jess ZimbabweJanuary 11, 2012There are 1400 panes of glass enclosing the lobby, which ranges from 70-90 feet in height.
