Valldemossa is located on the western side of Mallorca not far from Palma. It’s one of the most picturesque villages on the island.
After walking around in Valldemossa, we headed down to Puerto De Sóller for a swim. It’s located in a horseshoe bay and as many other places on Mallorca, surrounded by mountains.
Alcúdia is a village located in the northern parts of the island. It’s one of the most visited and many tourists stay here throughout the holiday. The beach is close by and has beautiful white sand.
Not far from Alcúdia is a gorgeous lookout point. The sea is 300 meters below so if you suffer from vertigo like me, it’s a thrilling experience to say the least.
If you drive down from Mirador d’es Colomer you can find a nice natural beach surrounded by woods and mountains. It was a bit tricky to find in 2012 but with Google Maps, it shouldn’t be a problem.
Palma is the capital of Mallorca and not only does it have good shopping and lots of tapas restaurants, there’s a harbour and beach nearby.
