- Noah WeissDecember 24, 2013The ideal downtown work spot. Great single origin coffees brewed with clover machines. Huge tables with lighting that doesn't suck. Reasonably good free wifi. Only downside is no power outlets.Upvoted Oct 1
- Untapped CitiesJuly 15, 2013Sheep, the shop's mascot, decorate Kaffe 1668's walls. Enter the cafe's cave-like basement for a completely different experience. Also, try the shop's fresh-pressed juices. Read more
- Carl FigueiredoFebruary 12, 2016Excellent cafe tucked away just blocks from World Trade Center. Great roasting program & execution of espresso / pour-over drinks. Make sure to check out the Alpha Dominche pour-over machine.
- Chris VolinskyJuly 6, 2015Best coffee in NYC? If you are into coffee, and I mean real, straight, black coffee, and enjoy the varietal differences of different countries, must try their impeccably brewed cups o joe.
- ℳ𝒶𝓎♍December 28, 2019About half the size of the Kaffe just up the bend but all the quality you'd expect from this Nordic café brand. Easily one of the better cafés in TriBeca to just sit and relax while sipping on drinks
- TylerOctober 13, 2017Friendly service, wide open decor with tons of tables, and plenty of coffee and food options (including lots of vegetarian and vegan).
- Darrin MaloneNovember 4, 2014The atmosphere and vibe of this place is great. They were just playing The Usual Suspects on the projector and people weren't obnoxious. Great coffee and espresso drinks. Laptop worker approved.
- Noah MSeptember 6, 2018There is no downstairs seating here. I don't know how all these tips ended up describing a downstairs at this location near Murray St., but this photo shows you what it looks like today:
- Perfect for a lazy morning. Grab their perfectly fluffy whole wheat croissant with an Ethiopian espresso.
- Tom CryptoJune 20, 2017Kaffe 1668 has some of my favorite coffee in NYC. I make it a point to stop by whenever I am in the area. Baristas are extremely educated and friendly if yo have questions.
- Andrius RomanovskisJanuary 7, 2017Japanese - Swedish family runs a stylish place with very good blend for espresso, nice baristas and a fine Macha Raw energy bars. As all Scandinavians they favour cashless payments.
- Hands down the best latte in Manhattan. A little expensive but how can you not love the fluffy little sheep that decorate the entire shop. Skip the food. There are better options nearby
- Sarah MOctober 27, 2018Amazing Mocha Latte! I love the atmosphere, and definitely my go to places for studying and getting some work done. They have great breakfast and lunch options
- Simon HSeptember 28, 2014Its pretty good... But not as good as laughing man in the same neighborhood. Yes, its trendier with some nice art on the walls, but the flat white at laughing man still wins hands down.
- One of the top coffee shops in the city. They have an excellent selection of coffees, teas and coffee drinks. Don't forget to use your Kaffe card {Buy 10 get the next drink free}
- Kaffe has been one of our favorites since the coming of the third wave. With the addition of wine and juices, a solid spot whatever your needed poison or antidote may be.
- Bruce HaydonJanuary 13, 2017Great place to meet for business or to catch up with a friend. A little dark, but good free Wi-Fi despite the fact there are almost no power outlets.
- One of the best mochas I've had in the city. Great ambiance and some good food as well. A weekend morning favorite for us.
- Kevin SkobacDecember 30, 2014Great place to work with good coffee, strong wifi, and tons of seating. Charge your laptop ahead of time though, very few power plugs.
- Michael DonovanOctober 23, 2016They know how to fill their cups! Every time I order a coffee, it's filled to the top. I feel like I have Parkinson's as my coffee flys everywhere. Top notch
- Shayna AApril 19, 2017The cortado is unbelievable. One of the best flavor profiles ever - a delicious nutty smoothness - favorite coffee in NY!
- Ms HeleneDecember 14, 2012A smooth and sweeter coffee than others. Great seating space that's dimly-lit and cosy but roomy at the same time. Wifi too. Small soy latte $4.50 to stay

- The Corcoran GroupApril 1, 2011Little coffee house serving delicious, smokey and memorable brews. Great place to hang out with your laptop and enjoy a cup and a yummy pastry.
- Emily LuApril 13, 2019Iced coffee and blueberry lemon scone. There is a big community table and a few smaller tables for working which is great
- They now serve cold pressed juices. Their coffee/espresso quality has a bit more variation unfortunately now than their early days with new hires etc. still, a very good place for the area.
- Tina WongJanuary 10, 2012This narrow space is good for the mornings when you don't have to rush out the door. The atmosphere kind of feels like Stumptown but a little more elegant. Any espresso-based drink is good here.
- Jackie NapalanNovember 22, 2017There are two locations on Greenwich. The south location has WiFi and is a bit smaller. Long community table and small tables for two at the back. Come with your laptop charged
- Steven HassallNovember 13, 2014Not sure about the love for sheep but the latte is one of the best I've had in NYC
- N AvedisAugust 29, 2018I didn’t realize that this place would be so good! They have great food, coffee and sweets. A great space for working/studying.
- IrinaJanuary 16, 2017Flat white was good but bigger than expected, croissant was yum. Baristas were indifferent though - didn't notice even a hint of smile on their faces in 20 Minutes 😐
- Christina ChinMarch 23, 2019Chill cafe to do work, lotsa ppl sitting with laptops. Coffee and service is good
- Eat the turkey curry sandwich: smoked turkey, curry sauce w walnuts & raisins, arugula, radish. Wash down with one of the best cup of coffee in the city.
- Love this place! Latte machiato and peppermint tea are my favs! Also love the hummous avocado sandwich and Swedish Cave cookie. All are incredibly delish!
- John ShrimpMarch 17, 2018This hip and modern gourmet coffee shop in Tribeca is on Greenwich serving coffee and espresso drinks for the nearby Citibank and college crowds.…
- Yash ManthaApril 13, 2015Great spot to work and be productive if you're distracted at home. They also sure brew a good cup of coffee to keep you company...
- Andrew FurmanJanuary 8, 20171668 is the year that New Yorkers started drinking coffee for breakfast instead of beer. 🍺➡️☕️
- The only cafe you should go to in TriBeCa. Delicious coffee & espresso, super friendly and laid-back staff, great ambience.
- Mish and RobMay 26, 2015It's a bit pretentious, but it smells amazing and the coffees are perfect. We just stopped here for a quick break, so didn't try the wifi.
- Mariel LëmairDecember 23, 2016Potent espresso on their yummy cappuccino. Lovely space with large-wooden community table with lots of space.
- The basement is a fantastic study spot. Usually you'll find Stuyvesant HS students here. I'm glad an alternative to Starbucks finally opened up. Counter Culture served here.
- Anything you order here will be amazing. Don't add anything, just drink it as it comes. You'll love it.
- M A T T B E R N S O NOctober 4, 2012They put the Clover drip on the map. They invented checking out with an iPad. References to the olde with lots of progress and cutting edge style. Oh, and great coffee.
- Evren AvserenApril 18, 2015I really felt peaceful here. Interesting atmosphere with dim light and candles. Great place to read or freelancing.
