- GusJune 28, 2015Beignets are delicious! Greg's Scrambled is one of the popular dishes! Give some sweet with fruits and cinnamon-raisin toast! The coffee has a great wooden flavor! My favorite brunch spot is the city!
- Iris NgJanuary 28, 2015Beignets! $5 for 3 or $2 for 1. Huge! The hangover fry is tasty! Sign up wait list at door with cute parklet outside. Stop by Mr. & Mrs. Miscellaneous for some awesome ice cream afterwards!
- Andrea BarrezuetaMay 31, 2016Huge and tasty breakfast portions with not your typic menu options.. And pint size mimosas with at least 5 different varieties to choose from? Yes!
- This is such a hidden gem in SF. A brunch spot without ridiculous wait times, accommodates vegans and gluten free, and isn’t expensive! It’s also all really tasty. I just love coming here with friends
- Greg StephensonJanuary 20, 2020Great southern influenced cafe. Whole-wheat toast was a highlight but the home fries and eggs were also a delight. The only place I have found in SF to serve beignets and fresh jam
- Mikael WagnerMay 11, 2013This is my perfect place for a mid morning brekky. Two orders of delicious beignets and a side of sausage or bacon and lots of coffee. I love the home feel of the place and how staff interact.
- Tiah Rodriguez-CrawlJuly 2, 2017My son and I had the Chorizo con Huevos (Eggs) with grits and potatoes. It was delicious! The beignets were great, too! We dined outside and the service was EXCELLENT.
- Simple, no BS California-spin on the classic coffee shop. They nail the scrambled eggs and the chicken apple sausage is great.
- One of the best breakfast burritos of all time (w chorizo). Have had it many times - impossible to lose with that order.
- Shane MinteFebruary 28, 2017Best breakfast I've had on either coast (I'm from NYC). Sensibly priced and the oatmeal pancakes are out of this world!
- Giovanna JonesJanuary 10, 2016Love this place! Service is super friendly! Biscuits & gravy were delicious! BUT being from NOLA I would NOT recommend the Beignets
- I've had sandwiches, soups, huevos, and specials...never the same thing twice and all of it good! Try it. Get the hot sauce and smile a lot; it will be reciprocated!
- The breakfast spot that asks for my preferred hot sauce gets my vote.
- Get the Greg's scramble. All the stinkiest foods in a pile: eggs, Parmesan cheese, onions, spinach, garlic. It's like something Wario would eat. Delicious!
- Peter StreibigJanuary 11, 2017Came here for coffee, breakfast and beignets: everything was definitely delicious and reasonably priced. Good spot for everyday breakfasting
- Jenny JMay 28, 2017Share a delicious beignet with a friend on the side of a savory breakfast meal. Eat a whole one and you'll probably get type II diabetes.
- J.J. PanzerOctober 21, 2012If there's a wait when you get there, sign your name on the list and head inside to get a paper cup by the register. They keep a pot of coffee on a cart outside to make the wait go by faster!
- Carla LayneAugust 7, 2014I'm from New Orleans, so I'm a tough critic. Food here is great! Always funny to see folks eat beignets with the strawberry jam on the table. What the....?
- Marshall St. ClairMarch 26, 20157x7 mag recommends eggs with pork chops, apple sausage or catfish on house-made white, wheat or cinnamon bread -- and legendary beignets
- Biscuits and gravy. Get 'em with eggs and hatch green chili sauce
- Tom LloydDecember 22, 2014I like the Cowgirl better than the Cowboy (and that's not something you'll hear me say very often).
- Ugur KanerSeptember 12, 2015Beignet is unreal. Corn bread is sick. Grit is mushy, and yummy. Biscuits are yummm
- Lana VenturaOctober 23, 2016Poached eggs and creole crab cake is amazing! Nice outdoor seating as well! I will definitely go back!
- jonathan gettingerJune 17, 2012If you like having 14 different options of meat alone, then this may be the place for you. Louisiana hot links, chorizo, crab cakes, chicken apple sausage-- you name it, they've probably got it.
- Nick CrockerNovember 21, 2015My favourite spot in the neighbourhood. Pancakes with real maple syrup ☺️ and the chilli scramble.
- Kelsea LundquistMay 9, 2010Get there early to get your name on the list, start with yummy beignets and coffee, then go with the breakfast burrito with green chili on top plus some oatmeal pancakes to finish it off....great meal
- GestinaSeptember 29, 2014The food and service was awesome. Recommend ordering the beignets. They're delicious!
- I love everything about this place. Beignets and scrambles. Done. There's always a wait and it's always worth it.
- Scott McCabeOctober 15, 2012Great breakfast. Get there early. Put your name on the list. They won't seat you without your complete party. Biscuits are the best I've had in years!
- Chris KantarjievOctober 8, 2022I love the home fries, Greg's scramble, the Greek scramble, and all the baked goods...
- Erica HsuOctober 29, 2011Cute, funky diner with things like huevos rancheros, sweet potato fries, and veggie reubens (which you can get with a gluten-free bun!)
- Hugo BarraSeptember 1, 2012Greek scramble with extra olives and cornbread, ask for Cholula hot sauce. Carrot and apple fresh juice. Perfection.
- Lia LottaSeptember 15, 2023crowded in the morning and very loud and busy. only filter coffee (with free refills though) and no oatmilk available. drinks for reasonable prices.
- Clay JonesDecember 29, 2011Beignets, home fries, coffee, huevos: all awesome. Breakfast burrito with chorizo and Hatch green chile sauce: amazing.
- Some say it's expensive but you really get what you pay for.. High quality ingredients. A pork chop with eggs and tots gets me out the door for ten bucks
- squeaselNovember 9, 2014Don't miss the pint glass mimosas and the beignets. I prefer these beignets to Brenda's beignets.
- Conor O'SullivanSeptember 23, 2017Beignets and Greg’s scrambled + a great atmosphere and not expensive
- drew tarvinNovember 14, 2015The place is often crowded and understandbly so, great for breakfast / brunch.
- General ElectricNovember 28, 2012Try the hatch chilies, brought in weekly from New Mexico! Likewise, GE is bringing digital intelligence to the physical world of industry as never before. Read more
- Mark HendricksonAugust 24, 2014The beignets are really good. Avoid the brunch crowd on the weekends unless you like standing around for awhile
- Timothy HongMarch 31, 2018Beignets were good! I got the Greg’s scramble with chorizo. It wasn’t bad. Home fries were meh. Not a bad option for brunch but wouldn’t wait in line to come again.
- Can't go wrong with the beignets. Big groups be prepared to wait. Place is small.
- Peter FridayFebruary 22, 2013Fried egg sandwich with bacon or the chorizo huevos rancheros are both equally amazing
