It is such a beautiful scenic scene! From the pier you get to see San Diego's most famous postcard scenery, and also Coronado Bridge and a small and yet charming beach right in front the pier.
It’s Italian so it’s naturally awesome and amazing. Highly recommend the Saturday farmers market.
One of the best Farmers Markets in all of SoCal, if not the best given the location/ambiance. Allow more than adequate time, this is a great venue and refreshing exercise.

For San Diego this park has it all. Museums, restaurant, concert hall, gardens trails and of course the world famous zoo.
One of the most visited places in San Diego. This is a protected Marine Park, so there is tons of marine life to see, including sea lions frolicking in the waves. Great dive spot!
Buy your tickets on their website and save yourself from the line and a couple bucks off the ticket prices. You don’t need to do it ahead of time either!
Breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Dog friendly. Perfect for a date. Sunsets here are amazing. Free parking around the houses.
Scenic cliff views and awesome hiking trails. All cars have to leave by 6:30pm though which means you have to judge your time. Park entrance fee is $15 (we went on Saturday).
So far this is a great ace to bring the kids! They have a playground and water areas for kids to splash around in! A definite must see!
So beautiful. We spent a whole day here just on the beach. We then drove over to the cove and walked all along to watch the sunset. So fun! Walk up to the main strip for some awesome dining.
Such a wonderful beach, quiet, good waves and nice white sand. It's famous Hotel de Coronado is amazing and the tide pools and rocks are neat for kids. Good food & even better ice cream at the Creamy
Great place to eat, have some coffee and walk around stores and museums. Super kids friendly!

A wide range of unexpected flavored beers, do a few flights so you can try a lot of them! Food is great! Get the Duck nachos, kale salad with grilled chicken, and truffle fries!
Good place to see the San Diego bayshore from a distance. Good to walk, have some food, wonder around.
The sun on the water is gorgeous. The view of the coastline is probably my favorite place on Earth. Peaceful, mellow, and so Southern California! :)
The zoo design is wonderful you can feel you are actually in the enviorement of the animals you are looking, has several spots to have snacks or even a beer, souvenir shops, kids will love it
A great theme park that let's you be up close with marine life. The shows are great for all ages and the park is truly beautiful. Come off season to have the park all to yourself. Craft Beer on site.
Spectacular scenery; smells like donkey butt stuffed with rotten fish.
