Jon: Great toast. If you're doing the tourist thing, grab a coffee to go, and people-watch in Alamo Square.
2. Alamo Square
Jon: Good spot for people watching. Sit at the top of the hill and watch everyone gawk at the painted ladies.
3. Nopa
Jon: Get here just before brunch opens, queue up, and enjoy an absolutely fantastic meal.
4. Toronado
Jon: Take a stroll up Divisadero and grab a stool and a bottle of fantastic beer here. Great crowd during the day--really welcoming place.
5. Amoeba San Francisco
Jon: Drop in here if you're walking along Haight to Golden Gate Park. Amazing record selection - really cool place.
6. de Young Museum
Jon: Worth walking through the park to get to, just to check out the great architecture.
7. Pizzeria Delfina
Jon: Head here, sit at the bar and grab a pizza. Then go right across the street to Bi-Rite for some ice cream.
8. Bi-Rite Creamery
Jon: Cannot see past that salted caramel. Fantastic stuff.
