a tiny little corridor of a diner, reminiscent of an old 'coney island' in the Midwest, but with a much better menu. great, fast service. good cheapcoffee. a real diner's diner.
classic New York dinner, loved the authenticity of the place and the passion of the chef you can feel it in every plate. crowded and long Q during breakfasts
The best place in the world to eat off a hangover. Expect a 15-20 minute wait for 2 (longer for a larger group) or order online and pickup at the window
If you're feeling particularly ambitious (and hungry), get the Curious George - Three Eggs, Bacon and Ham, French Fries, and Cheese on a Hero. The fries in the sandwich are a real game changer.
Best sandwiches in the area! Old New York style luncheonette. Great burgers and creative sandwiches. Egg sandwiches and pancakes rock. My go to!! 5 stars! Good people!
Just GO! A great local spot with great inexpensive food and old school lunch counter. Get their early for a seat at the counter, place is small. Also be ready to smell like food after you leave.
Everything is awesome! Do Me An Ava, Delicious Doug and The Curious George are my personal favs! Johny is the man! Awesome customer service and great old school NY atmosphere!
If you would like to feel right at home and love old style New York then you would love Johny's. Good food and friendly service makes for a great spot.
Johny is the man and runs a great diner that I've been coming to for about 7 years. Being very close to my office and having almost everything you could want throughout the workday is a big plus.
Awesome little whole in the wall. Had breakfast and lunch there and both were very good. The workers make it a fun place to be, they are very entertaining.
This place gets a lot of hype and it's well deserved. I always get pancakes with whatever else I'm ordering because they're so fluffy. Coffee is very good too.
Friendly, really tasty, and affordable. Love this place. Just avoid it on weekends at lunch time as they are overbusy and understaffed. I waited a full hour for an egg sandwich 🤷♂️
Great eggs, pancakes and service. Place might seem full from the outside but be sure to check the inside before moving on, some seats might be available.
Try the Curious George ($6.95), which includes three fried eggs, French fries in the sandwich (Yay!), 3 strips of bacon, 2 slices of melted cheese, and two pieces of boiled luncheon meat ham. Read more
