Take the elevator to the top of the St. Mark's bell tower (it costs €8). You'll get an excellent view of the square and surrounding area!
Cheap wine and delicious cichetti! A glass Chardonnay is €0.60 cents (at other places is this around €2.00-3.00). In the morning there are little sandwiches, in the afternoon some savoury snacks!
Pinot Nero, Gnocchi, T-Bone steak for two off the charts good (enough for four). Atmosphere is superb and worth a walk off the tourist path.

Beautiful place which you shouldn't miss if you're in Venezia. Just take a vaporetto and let tale yourself on the island of colourful sailors houses and small lovely streets whith traditional crafts.
