Some choice places from our Italy trip in summer 2011.
1. Museo Galileo - Istituto e Museo di Storia della Scienza
James Whittaker: Very good museum that isn't about art! Lots of interesting history about time, space and science in general.
2. Gusta Pizza
James Whittaker: Get here early to grab a table. Menu is small but damn good. Very good value, best pizza I've had in Italy.
3. Museo Leonardiano
James Whittaker: Bit of a let down. Don't bother going for the iPod guide it's covers hardly anything and isn't finished yet. There needs to be more interactive exhibits but don't let that put you off a visit.
4. Osteria del Cinghiale Bianco
James Whittaker: Great service and food. The special of beef stew in chianti was extra special.
5. Flet
James Whittaker: Great cocktails here esp the mojito.
6. Hotel Italia Siena
James Whittaker: Get the executive room with a balcony, fantastic views!
7. Greve in Chianti
8. Obicà
9. Montana
10. Castelvetro di Modena
11. Museo Ferrari
12. Nannini
