J John: Best croissants anywhere in SF and probably California. This bakery is owned by Armando Arsicault, a third generation French baker; his recipes have been passed down in his family for generations. A++

J John: Regional Vietnamese soups,everything is fresh. They put the veggies in the soup for you instead of giving u a giant bunch of basil, sprouts, peppers & limes. OK service, they now take credit cards.

J John: Easily one of the best ice cream shops in the city. Plain vanilla & chocolate are simply delicious.

J John: They do a solid pizza here with a super light and delicious crust. One of the best slice shops in the city

J John: House made flour tortillas, great meats, superb burritos

J John: The absolute best traditional sub sandwiches 🥪 in the SF Bay Area. The Molinari special is the perfect sub for first time visitors. Incredibly tasty Italian bread 🥖 A+++++

J John: Best authentic/traditional Greek food in San Francisco & the bay area & it's not even close! No casual E. Bay spot or Kokkari have the quality & variety (bougatsa, pastichio, etc). Service was A+++

J John: Best gelato anywhere, as authentic as it gets! This is the stuff I remember growing up in Italy 🇮🇹. The toasted almond and the hazelnut are simply out of this world delicious! A+++

J John: Best salsa verde in SF. All the meats are fresh and delicious; the shrimp quesadilla is highly recommended. A+++

J John: Easily the best (non-traditional Italian, non-Vietnamese) hoagies in SF. You’ll pay twice as much as Arguello or Gus's but it’s ten times better. Slow service depending on hipster traffic 🤷‍♂️
