Jessica Baldwin: Best food in town, HANDS DOWN. During the school months, there is a lunch buffet during the week. When it's warm, stop by for the beautiful back patio seating.
Jessica Baldwin: The RiverTrail runs through the park and extends to the Williamstown Bridge on one side and to the Fairgrounds and Aquatic Center on the other. Grab a book at Barking Dog across the street to read.
Jessica Baldwin: Espresso drinks are good here. Good sugar-free syrups, too. The pastries aren't all that great...all previously frozen and microwaved.
Jessica Baldwin: Steve makes a great latte or mocha. Cupcakes are by The Sweet Shop. Best shortbread cookies in town. Brownie's pepperoni rolls available. Not a great place to grab coffee if you're in a rush.
Jessica Baldwin: Good pizzas. Burgers tend to be overcooked. The ciabatta portobello sandwich is great, and the bean cakes with lemon aioli are good, too.
Jessica Baldwin: Best music venue in the area. Tons of beers on tap with a state-of-the-art cooling system that serves each beer at its individual ideal temp. Bring earplugs in case the musicians' amps are too loud.
Jessica Baldwin: I love the Bread Garage scones & bread; organic grass-fed cheeses; local chicken, goat, lamb, rabbit, pork, and beef; local honey and maple syrup; delicious cupcakes; and a bounty of produce.
Jessica Baldwin: They're famous for their bologna sandwich, but that's not really my thing. They serve wings one day per week, and they're quite good. Their patio area is nice.
Jessica Baldwin: This is the first antique shop I've ever been in that didn't make me feel overwhelmed. It's open and airy, and all of the items are carefully selected. The landscaping out front is fantastic!
Jessica Baldwin: They don't take cards. It's a bit cramped, but worth it if you like diner food. The outer door will slam behind you on the way in. The regulars know to hold it as it shuts.
Jessica Baldwin: They're open Thursdays thru Mondays until 3PM, and they serve breakfast all day. Her pancakes and chicken salad are both excellent, and the white bread is homemade.
Jessica Baldwin: I love the coffee-chocolate sugar free protein shake. They have lots of protein shake options, and they make fresh juices. They also serve regionally roasted Silverbridge drip coffee every day.
Jessica Baldwin: This is THE festival in Marietta each year, complete with a great fireworks display on the river. Happens the weekend after Labor Day. http://www.ohioriversternwheelfestival.org/

Jessica Baldwin: This a fantastic new festival in Marietta that highlights all of its wonderful outdoor activity options, including hiking and paddling and Ohio brews.
Jessica Baldwin: Shila is one of the most skilled bodyworkers in the region. She lists craniosacral and polarity therapy as her primary techniques, but she's trained in many others that she incorporates. Amazing!
Jessica Baldwin: Ben and Laura are excellent! In addition to their chiropractic training, Ben is certified in Functional Movement Systems, and Laura is a certified acupuncturist.
Jessica Baldwin: The trail starts at 4th street by the Ohio River (there's a little parking lot) and ends at the Marietta Aquatic Center. It's 4 or so miles long in total.
Jessica Baldwin: She offers lots of plantain-based dishes from her home in Puerto Rico. Good people and good food. Often has live music on Friday evenings and lunchtime. Closed Sat and Sun.
Jessica Baldwin: The spring/early summer chocolate covered strawberries and summer popsicles are favorites. The raspberry chocolates and the highlander grog coffee beans are my favorites.
Jessica Baldwin: One of my sources for locally-roasted Silverbridge Coffee. Not your average kitchen supply place. Their cooking classes are top-notch.
Jessica Baldwin: Clay is a wonderful MT. Jeanie gives the best facial I've ever had anywhere. She brings out the best in your skin, rather than attacking the flaws, helping you change it from the inside out.
