A jewel in the middle of Manhattan. The pork dumplings in chilly oil are a must. The dam dam noodles is a sure choice.

Hidden gem in SoHo. Both omasakes are great. The 9 course includes 2 more appetizers and higher grade dishes. Homemade soba is offered if you're not full.
New favorite Japanese spot. Stay away from the "normal" dishes and get their seasonal specials.
Food here is incredible. Flavors are amazing. Get the leeks, duck and chicken. Chocolate dessert.

Skip other dishes and make sure you order somtum, be it Thai or Lao style (with fermented fish), fried chicken, and sticky rice. Given I'm a Thai who loves somtum, I know what I'm talking about ;)
