Nutella crepes made in front of you are the way to go :) Bubble tea offered both hot and cold, and there is enough seating space in order to sit and stay and read or do work for a while.
Lovely and quiet hideaway off 57th. 40' ceilings, grand chandeliers, and baronial furniture make you feel okay about the latte's $6 price tag.

Toby's Estate has some of the best coffee in NYC. Their pint-sized outpost in the Flatiron makes up for its diminutive size by being attached to a tiny (beautifully appointed) outpost of the Strand.
Love this cozy little spot! The cold brew iced coffee is strong and delicious. The staff is very friendly. Limited seating but that's part of its charm.

While paying a premium, the coffee drinks are better than most in the area. Space and light invite conversation and relaxation. Snacks are available (e.g. Muffins, croissants, etc).

Beautiful place to work but restrooms are only for children & their caregivers so it's good to be here for a few hours then head nearby for lunch & a restroom
Free wifi, no password, lots of seating. Actually prefer it to the big "Variety" in Bushwick.
