An absolute must visit, you get really close to the monkeys. Careful they don't steal your things! Winter with snow would be best but still good in summer. Walk up the Forrest route there in Summer.

Probably the most beautiful park in Tokyo. Several styles of landscapes from british, to french to the typical japanese one with cute bridges and a big pond. It's worth the 200¥ entrance.

Omg. Every flavor here is like essence-of-(that flavor) in creamy, stiff gelato form. Matcha Grade 7 was amazing of course; the black sesame and brown rice tea were the unexpected delights.
Try the live squid landed from Yobuko prepared Ikizukuri-style with tentacles still moving. You can tempura the rest. Seating is on traditional Japanese tatami mat. It was a great meal!

Try coming down through a narrow path near the toilet on the east. It will lead you down the hill via a cemetery. The view is simply breathtaking!
Subtle Star Wars themed pub with super friendly staff. They do have an English menu, just ask for it (if they don't bring it out on their own!) Try the satsumai and chicken!

The Daiso here is 4 levels and has so much variety. You could spend quite a bit of time here. The items here are NOT all $2, so you'll have to check the prices before purchase.
Went during winter and was quite nice compared to hot Universal Orlando in Florida. Mixture between both FL parks. Relaxing. Worth it with new Potter World.

A must visit in Akihabara. I can't even fully describe what I saw there: It's like visiting a real-life magical girls anime. ¥700 table charge is worth it!
A maid cafe with class and high standards. This is a place where maids are maids which deviates from the norm from other maid cafes in Akihabara.
One of Tokyo's better maid cafés. Experience is awesome or awkward depending on who you are and what tickles your fancy. Few girls speak enough English to have the most basic of conversations.
Go there for your birthday! They will take a picture of you and all the maids, plus will give you free desert. Also, expect very slow service - part of the experience!
One of the best places in Akiba to get video games, cards, CDs, DVDs, Blurays, Music, Movies, Anime, Manga, figurines etc. Otaku heaven. You can spend days inside here and never see sunlight.

Huge place. It seems like they have almost literally everything tech related. Each floor is a category on its own. Definitely a place to visit if you want to demo headphones, mech keyboards, etc!
Absolutely worth the hike. To find it: when you go across the bridge just turn left at the end. 100 yens for bags to feed the monkeys so keep some spare money.
5 level toy store. They have the classics like Star Wars and Hello Kitty plus some other less common toys. Fun place to wonder around in. Not sure if it's the best for hardcore you enthusiasts.

There's a lot of great finds here. If you're a tourist, start at the top going down. You have to pay for your purchases by floor. If you spend enough, you can get a tax refund at the lowest floor.

It is a great place to stay long time, there are a lot of Sakura trees and the view when the trees are flowering is spectacular.
Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Chef Yasuda loves to tell you about his craft and his ingredients - don't be shy to ask. Get reservations at the bar if possible - it's worth the wait.
A place to go if you are looking for real sushi. It's a 2 Michelin star restaurant, so expect to pay a certain price and book months in advance :-)
Amazing lunch omakase for only 3,500 yen! (+30min wait) Staffs and chefs speak English and are very friendly. There's only one fixed menu, unless you call ahead to get the dinner menu during lunch.

The best Don Quijote we have visited in Tokyo. We have been to at least 4 and this is by far the most spacious one with the best selection of products.

This is the Times Square of Osaka, but even better! Great food and shops everywhere, and some quieter views along the river. There is also a street kept in the old traditional style but to find.
Drinks aren't cheap and I doubt there is a happy hour but the view is spectacular
Best place for women's fashion in Tokyo. You'll get looked at quite a lot if you go there as a single man though (no one should be surprised by this).
