Great place to stop by for a quick cappuccino (or other coffee drink of choice). They have outdoor seating too, which would be lovely on a pleasant day!
An easy walk from Paradeplatz to this church. Free to visit and definitely worth stepping in to admire the lovely Chagall stained glass windows. (No photos allowed inside though.)
Bring your camera! Great views of the Grossmunster (church) and most of Zurich's Old Town from this bridge.
If you're not scared of heights, it is worth the 4 CHF to climb one of the two towers for a nice panoramic view of Zurich! Unlike other towers, the view was unobstructed (no excessive fencing).
I took the #13 tram all the way to its terminus at Albisguetli. From the tram stop, walk through a parking lot to find the trail head that brings you to the summit of Uetliberg mountain.
As many have said, great waffles and friendly service! I also was able to bring my laptop and do a few hours of work at one of their large tables.
Swiss food in a tourist-friendly environment. (I don't mean that in a negative way either; sometimes when you've been travelling a while, it's nice to know exactly what you are ordering from a menu!)
