KOMPAS: The food at Zimt is what distinguishes it from other café's in Munich. From lunch you can choose a variety of dishes including saffron risotto with prawns and chicken satay. A must try for fresh food.
KOMPAS: From the outside it may look like your typical cafe but step inside and you'll find aged wood, antique furniture, and a mix of chairs including a rocking chair. Fresh juices, cookies and more!
KOMPAS: Minimalist and above a men's fashion store, the café is colourful and they create artfully presented food such as tuna and cucumber sandwiches in a pin wheel-style and brioche burgers with pâté.

KOMPAS: Instantly recognisable by its plush sofa's and armchairs upholstered in vintage looking fabrics. Not a speedy service but worth the wait and is the work of a perfectionist. A time capsule café.
KOMPAS: A little café amongst a charming potted garden. Recognisable by its colourful garden chairs surrounding tree stumps, they serve a range of freshly squeezed juices and light snack food.
KOMPAS: A true French bakery producing high-quality goods such as their 'quiche du gourmand their baguettes filled with duck, camembert and saucisson. A must try are their freshly baked croissants.
KOMPAS: Zimt Zicke is a cosy little café oozing vintage charm. Gluten-free chocolate cake is a must try, and perfect with one of their home made smoothies. The staff speak great English too. Homely and fun.
KOMPAS: Café Fräulein uses locally sourced ingredients and are by known for their Zimtschnecke. They offer a variety of cakes and quiches as well as cheese fondue. A very feminine café but a must try.
KOMPAS: As you walk in you immediately see an array of delightful cakes on stands. They have a wooden and rustic interior with vintage floral wallpaper, all adding to the charm. Their cakes regularly change.
KOMPAS: Located in Maxvorstadt, expect to find furry four-legged guests roaming around, demanding all the fuss that they can get. Katzentempel as the name suggests, bases itself around cats.
