I served on Grand Jury Duty for two weeks, and our 90 min lunch break was the only thing that kept me sane. Here's a list of the best places near the Kings County Supreme Court.
Ramen Restaurant · Downtown Brooklyn · 289 tips and reviews
J Crowley: Hear me out. This place is good, but not the best value. Kinda pricey. Gyoza good, but not mind blowing (get 1/2 order). Pork buns were spicy as a mo fo - the miso flavor burned my nostrils. Yowzers!
192 Duffield St (btwn Willoughby St and Myrtle Ave), Brooklyn, NY
Dumpling Restaurant · Downtown Brooklyn · 50 tips and reviews
J Crowley: Hole in the wall with super cheap and delicious dumplings. Fried pork + chive are my fave. Juicy buns only worth splitting with a friend - too heavy for one person. I had 18 dumplings. Beat that!
J Crowley: Fried Chicken Sando with cheese, obvi! Ask for chipotle mayo! Biscuits are awesome. Skip the fries - nothing special. Invest in the mashed potatoes instead.
Cuban Restaurant · Downtown Brooklyn · 26 tips and reviews
J Crowley: Nothing fancy in this Cuban diner, but food is authentic and tasty. Roast pork entree with rice and beans for $11. Could easily feed two people! Lunch service was fast. Green hot sauce on everything!
360 Adams St (btwn Johnson & Joralemon St.), Brooklyn, NY
Courthouse · Downtown Brooklyn · 102 tips and reviews
J Crowley: Here for jury duty? Pack a phone charger and load you Pocket app with articles the night before. Almost no cell service. Wi-fi on second floor or by witness area on 16th.
