Very cool space with something for everyone. The bar area is fun and the drinks are good. The food is delicious. I particularly like their chicken dishes. Burger night is also great.
Probably the best brunch in the neighborhood. Get the pork belly & artichoke hash and the blackberry creme stuffed brioche French toast. All the thumbs up!
Start with the crunchy sweetbreads in a tart rhubarb glaze or the asparagus salad, then progress to the big lush hamburger dripping juices or the nut-coated trout served with fennel slaw. Read more
kale salad and grass fed burger - grab the cozy corner table for two in the back. perfect lighting, perfect atmosphere in the heart of BK, perfect for a catch up with an old friend after travelling
We had the trout, charred beets, and the favorite bowl with chicken and black rice. Everything was delicious and the outdoor dining service was very well done. Great alcohol selection too!
Spicy bloddy is light and flavorful but not heavy on the tomato. Kale salad is very unique, filling, and so worth it. Lemon ricotta cheesecake is a must have - rich and light, pefectly balanced.
You may not expect it from an excellent, slightly upscale neighborhood spot but their burger is not to be overlooked. If you're looking for something grown-up to eat, you can get it here too.
Incredible food and drinks - everything we saw looked great. We did brunch Bloody Mary's, the shrimp w/ polenta, and the pork belly artichoke hash. SO good.
The food is excellent, very fresh ingredients. I had the trout and it was cooked to perfection. The only downside I found was that the place is very expensive. Be prepared to leave w\ a lighter wallet
Drinks strong. Service friendly but you really gotta work to flag 'em down. Food standard brunch fare, though the grilled cheese (I'm glad they didn't try to call it a croque) was delicious.
Here on a Monday? Get the lamb burger—a half-pound puck, dusted in cumin, seared in a cast-iron pan, anointed with warm goat cheese & cipollini onions. It’s one of our #100best dishes & drinks of 2011 Read more
If you're just two people, they'll insist you sit in the middle of the restaurant. It feels like a fishbowl. Have a spicy jalapeño margarita to get rid of stage fright. Brioche toast = too big to bite
burger night! Monday. if you're fiending for a lamb burger, make sure to get there on the early side--they sell out! don't fear: the beef burger is extraordinary
This Prospect Heights bistro serves a pretty standard classic Bloody Mary, but adventurous drinkers should try the fiery Bloody Maria, served with Jalapeño-infused tequila. Read more
sit at the bar. they make great drinks. order a hamburger. or lamb burger. or the spring onion soup. or the duck sausage and eggs. whole menu is great.
f you are in Park Slope/Prospect Heights, this is the spot. Modern unpretentious well edited menu. Intimate and decorated to perfection. - Brice Pattison
Came for dinner. If you're vegetarian, skip the pasta entree and get a starter + side(s). Pasta was disappointing but the kale salad is big and flavorful. All the sides look good.
Brunch- sadly the pulled pork kust tastes of BBQ sauce. If you do order, get a poached duck egg on top. french toast is great... In fact all thier carbohydrates ( bread, scones, pancakes) are good.
Happy hour may be old news? Went between 5:30-6:30 and no specials to be seen. The burger is $17. Everything looks amazing, but we won't be back for "happy hour".
Part of the charm of this acclaimed eatery is the location: it's a jewel box tucked into a corner of two otherwise residential brownstone blocks. Read more
