Stopped 4 a leisurely Sun. lunch: ordered a draft beer (good selections) & the summer salad (exceptional). Service was relaxed (go when u have time), waiter was great.. New young chef - worth trying!

So I thought this place was cool when I discovered the awesome sports bar downstairs and cool bartender... Then a swarm of children came in...so apparently it's a kid zone, beware
Excellent food, great bartenders. Unlimited mimosas for $12 at brunch and live jazz band on Sundays. Try the wings - chipolte orange are insanely hot, if you dare...
For a literal glass of "Grandpa's ole Cough Medicine" order "The Shipwreck": gin/ coconut water/ ginger joint, which was also Grandpa's clever answer when asked why he never made Captain. Read more
More like a restaurant than a diner (pricewise also) but no healthy options on the brunch menu. Most of the food is pretty rich and loaded. However if you are looking for hearty burgers, this is good
Appetizers and drinks are your best bets at Jake's, though appetizers are rather salty. Stay away from the ordinary tasting burgers and steaks, which are a bit dry. Service is average.
Don't go towards closing for food- had to send our burger back twice- it was raw. Overall the food wasn't great- fries were mediocre imitations of mcdonalds and grilled calamari was not hot enough.
