I love the black beans and yellow rice, fried shrimp, fried plantains, cassava with garlic, chicken and cheese patties, fried pork. The stewed beef and steak tips are tender and delicious.
There's a Spanish menu hidden behind the counter. Only order from that. I'll give you a hint: if you are fine with pork (which is a staple of the cuisine), get the Pernil. Also, tostones.
The steak tip dinner... that's all you need. And if you like plaintains, ask to substitute the salad with plaintains (green or sweet)! Also you gotta get a Jamaican beef pattie! It's got a kick to it.
