Stay on the 6 local downtown past the last stop and you will see the station out the right side as you loop around to go back uptown. For best results sit in the back. Great way to impress someone!

Take the 6 train past the end of the line at Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall. It swoops down past a cool abandoned train station and comes back up on the other side of the platform. Do it in the daytime.

If on the 6 going downtown, convince your conductor to stay on the train while it loops back around to go uptown. Very cool tour of the long-abandoned City Hall station on the way.

This station is closed to the public but you can get a peek at it by taking a ride on a City Hall bound 6 train. Don't get off on the 'last stop' at City Hall. Look for the station on the right side.

This subway station opened in 1904, but it only accommodates 5 subway cars, so they had to stop using it when they used more cars

Stay on the Downtown 6 train past the last stop (Brooklyn Bridge). Pay close attention out of the windows on the right side of the train as the station is not lighted.

If you get lucky, the lights will be on in the station as the downtown 6 makes its loop through.

It's permitted to ride through on the 6 train, but you can't get the full experience without the tour.
