Irene M: Place Pigalle is hidden behind Don and Joe’s Meats and Pike Place Fish. This is a classy, friendly sit-down white-tablecloth type restaurant that serves Northwesty food with a slightly French spin.
Irene M: Has a big tank of critters where you can put your hands in and touch them and a gorgeous walkway the is enclosed by glass under a tank so the creatures swim around you and overhead.
Irene M: Make a reservation. Eat a delectable Basque-influenced dinner here. Follow recommendations, ask what's good. Don't come with a large party, it's a perfect place for a date. Eat everything.
Irene M: Get the spicy. It will be the best fried chicken you've ever had. Thank God as crispy skin rains down on your garments. Get a roll to use to mop the grease from your face and then stuff in your mouth.
Irene M: My favorite espresso in NYC hands down is 9th Street Espresso. You know where the founders of 9SE learned how to pull shots? At fucking Victrola, biatch.
