If you're from out of town, the information desk by the garage entrance has maps to the city and the volunteers can tell you all the best places to go.
Skip WWI exhibit. Went explicitly for Father's Day, it's only a few uniforms scattered about. Park system=tech issue. Chased down for $, had just paid (only 1 other family there-forgot already??)
At the CanalCafe, the grill guy will cook you almost anything you ask for. And, if you don't see "chicken velvet soup", you can request it anyway. Read more
