Walking the outer paths of this park is a deceptively long and beautiful walk. Bring water and sunscreen. Don't get lost trying to take shortcuts across the lake.

The children's playground is awesome. It's clean, has different areas for different ages, and has equipment for those with disabilities.

You can kayak down the Des Plaines from the launch located across from the pavilion in the back.

Great for fishing! The little shop near the marina sells fishing licenses, basic poles, and of course worms.
