Visit if you like a good curry but not the bloat afterwards. Great food, service and a good set menu deal (cocktail, starter, main, rice, naan and dhal for £15). Plenty of vegetarian options.
Manager got us a table without reservation on a busy Thur evening. Service was brilliant. Paapdi chaat, lamb chops, paneer kadhai , prawns makhani, haji Ali falooda & Casatta on our menu - delicious
Everything was amazing! If you love Indian food you need this place on your life! Best indian I've had in London. Bhutani Tawa chicken to start-so delicious and tender. Lamb roganjosh-amazing!
Went for dinner got the lamb curry, chicken masala, biryani, samosa, paneer;food was exceptional, service was excellent. Portions are beyond adequate, will definitely return to try their brunch/lunch menu.
Formerly a bright, brash ‘Indian tapas’ pit-stop, this offshoot of Michelin-starred Tamarind has morphed into a cool, industrial-chic restaurant offering street food from across the subcontinent. Read more
Absolutely delicious, spicy Indian food. Fine paneer, fresh spices and a huge naan variety. Recommend the homemade ice tea with pomegranate seeds. Friendly staff.
For dessert the ice creams and sorbets are fab. Mango & basil really works; raspberry & volcanic salt sounds weird but is a fruit sensation; carrot fudge aka halwa is sumptuous but get a large portion
I'm sorry I've had better. Although part of the Tamarind group there are loads of less glam places in London that will give these guys a good run for their money
Mmm the Indian tapas are delicious and different from the usual curry/biryani at Indian restaurants. Highly recommend the black lentil curry, the masala grilled chicken, and the pear-lychee juice!
Street food stand was good, paneer was not too spicy and the squid rings were tasty. Chicken tikka was not great, and daal was tasteless. Overall not bad value, would come again.
If you're insistent on Indian and Dishoom has a queue, this'll do. It's well presented, but the food is very average and the quality is noticeably poor. The chicken appetizer was very bland.
Very bad overpriced brunch, oily and tasteless, we got eggs and the pancakes. And service from start to end was not great, waiter knew nothing about the menu. Lassi was only good thing.
Painfully slow service, small portions and over priced. The squid rings in a bucket were soggy and the spicy chicken wings were deep fried with a chilli dip sauce. Very average food. Head to Dishoom.
