Security was amazingly quick as smaller airports are usually a nightmare.

Don't wear shiny clothes like sweaters with sparkly silver thread. The machines pick it up as suspicious on the full body scan. Nice TSA pros.
Tiny airport, so fast security lines. No need to be super early.

You have to get on the Ferris Wheel! Its a must of the fair. And the orbiter is awesome!
If it is raining, forget about it. No parking garage and no parking lot shuttle. But you can get a bottle of Aquafina for 3 bucks
Say hello to Shadow, the adorable therapy dog who visits the gates.
Very convenient! Never any issues traveling through this small airport.

Leave ample time+ for morning flights. TSA line can get backed up.

Jetstream is a great place to spend the inevitable delay on flights to NYC.- Use web checkin the day before.. Never had an issue at ilm. Great staff, clean, and for now.. Free internet
Nice little airport. Friendly, fast security. Good car rentals. Fast luggage turn around.- 2nd Christmas tree near gate 6 (heart of departure area)

Alligent Air has the cheapest flights to Orlando-Sanford. Don't check your bags and print your boarding pass online to go straight to security!

TravisJune 8, 2010Google maps sometimes sends you to the private plane entrance on the wrong side of the airport so follow the road signs.- FOR SOME REASON TSA THINK OF THEMSELVES AS THE 36 MAFIA. DON'T EVEN TRY GETTING PAST THEM.
- Coming here...do carry on. Baggage claim here takes FOREVER!!!!.
