I do not know why the rating is so low. This Michelin-reccomended Chinese food spot is, for my money, the best in the East Village.

Green pepper with preserved egg is the sleeper hit. Mao's Braised Pork and Dan Dan Noodles are great too.

Come here if the wait is too long at Han dynasty. Comparable menu and still good food
