- Riverfront TimesAugust 14, 2014The fragrant pilau topped with vegetable korma or spicy chicken tikka masala! The veggie samosas, so crunchy-perfect; the smoky, falling-off-the-bone-tender tandoori chicken. Read more
- HarshalaSeptember 28, 2013My first visit to house of India & it was indeed a delight! Good ambience ! One of the upscale Indian restaurants in town! All the dishes were quite impressive! Chicken was tender & cooked perfectly!
- Justine DeRoachNovember 21, 2017So far I've only had the chicken dishes but the Korma, tikka, and tikka masala are great. So are their biryanis! They let you customize the spice level so youre never *burned* eyyy
- Khrystal K. DavisMarch 12, 2016We love the Chicken Tika Masala. We order the Chicken Vindaloo as well, but it can be way too spicy sometimes. The garlic nan is very good, as are the mango leases.
- Joanna WillfredJanuary 3, 2019Only Indian restaurant opened in the area tonight. Foursquare menu prices are outdated. First visit, good food, great time. Don’t be fooled by the white linens, jeans and sweatshirts are acceptable.
- Riverfront TimesOctober 10, 2012RFT 2012 Best of St. Louis Winner - Best Indian Restaurant-You have to try the lunch buffet! It is an unbeatable price, always fresh and full of variety! http://bit.ly/W1Ld5O
- Alex KerlickFebruary 10, 2013Chicken Korma is creamy and delicious. If your taste buds are up for it, anything Vindaloo is good and super spicy.
- Drishti GargMarch 16, 2014The best indian food ever! Recommending it to everyone and this is now officially my new favorite restaurant!
- Great service. Never too crowed. The Chicken Makhani is my favorite.
- Donna CutelliNovember 30, 2013Awesome, affordable, friendly staff, and one of the best Indian in StL
- William HardrickOctober 26, 2013#75 on the menu was really good....service was kinda slow but food was really good
- Their traditional lentil soup is delish. The Boti Kabab Masala is not for the faint of heart- it's VERY spicy/hot.
- Stephen PerryDecember 7, 2012Chicken Vindaloo is something everyone should try. Careful though, it's very hot.
- Kelly SteinmannJanuary 11, 2014I've tried this place 2x now - the 2nd time only b/c everyone seems to love it, so I thought maybe they'd just had a bad day. But again, I was really disappointed. There's much better Indian in STL.
- The Chana Palak is my favorite dish. Try the Samosas as well.
- Anne H.January 13, 2013Went here with people who highly recommended it, the food was tasteless and had no spice at all. The other tips say the food is spicy, but that was not my experience at all.
- Gabby AllanJuly 14, 2013The food was so so. However we were entertained by a couple arguing 2 tables over. Not a great first impression.
