The Viceroy Hotel Group property attracts a high-tech crowd thanks to its sleek interiors, a game room off the lobby, and a floor-to-ceiling Plinko installation that you can actually play.
Decent hotel and the closest SF gets to a "boutique hotel", though a long way from such hotels in Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Beware the super dodgy and somewhat dangerous surrounding area.
Clean, cozy and super friendly staff, room size is specious (considering that located in the heart of SF downtown), location is superb, try to take higher floors (market st is a noisy busy street).
Go to the playroom and make some friends with other tourists (hopefully they're Australian), then proceed to go see Waka Flocka Flame, but not get in, so go to a dive bar in a random alleyway
Its cheap, cheerful and convenient. Staff is terribly friendly. Hotel has good bones. Heard Viceroy is gonna do a huge revamp in November. Best thing is it isn't in Union Square!!
Had brand new shoes stolen out of my suitcase, apparently by housekeeping. Nothing on security footage. Had the receipt, so management reimbursed, but still... 😐
Gotta agree on the WiFi - best to use an air card. No in room coffee, tiny TV and no notification of packages being delivered. Laundry was quick to be returned so there is that. Won't be back.
For the bold and the brave, this creative haven is steeped in a playful, adventurous spirit. One-of-a-kind touches, distinctive design, and dynamic art fill every stay with surprise and delight.
