A grand old hotel, I found a deal on Groupon and had a relaxing stay here. Built in 1931, full of history and located in the heart of downtown Kansas City.
Beautiful historic hotel! The breakfast buffet on Sunday morning was such a bargain for all the food that we got. Bar is lively on weekend evening. Live music too!
Very pretty hotel! Great shower pressure, decent in-room coffee (rare in most hotels), good room service, friendly front desk service and free wine in the lobby in the evening during the week :-)
Great boutique hotel in heart of downtown Kansas City. Reasonable rates, nicely appointed rooms and helpful and friendly staff. Overnight parking is pricey ($18), lots of other options near by though.
Hotel ambiance is near perfect — except: the (hidden?) cost of valet(ing) racks up fast with a tip for every time you retrieve your car (and, you cannot access items in your car w/out that ‘tip.’).
Bed was super comfy. Brand new TVs, but we never watched them since there is so much to do, and it's in walking distance. Eat at the cafe attached, it is delicious. And Raymond is the best waiter ever
We were a large group, so we needed a place to hang out late at night. Tom and the staff here opened up the Mezzanine floor for us and pretty much catered to our needs. Thanks SO much!
Excellent stay! Customer service was extraordinary. I found the beds very comfortable by the way. Great venue at a great rate. Would come back in a heartbeat!
Rooms have been recently upgraded. I had a very complicated trip and the staff is what made everything ok. Both management and service sttaff were awesome. Beds and tvs are new and AWESOME. :)
The Hotel is beautiful. Our room in a little small. But, the shower is amazing. Full size above ground style tub with awesome shower head. The elevators suck though. They take forever to come & small
The bar has most boulevard beers on tap. The breakfast is to die for. Skip the buffet and order off the menu! The bloody marys are delicious. A kc must have
Probably the most unforgiving hotel bed I've ever slept in. And what's up with the analog tv's...4 star? With that said, the food and service was amazing. Try the black and blue.
Nothing special, just a standard hotel. Don't know if I would call it "boutique". Reservation system is borked, bought a room online and they gave it away b4 I arrived. Downgraded without asking :/
beautiful hotel, but 2 minor critiques: my room is pretty dusty & there aren't enough outlets (I'm charging my phone in the bathroom, the only visible outlet in the whole room). Would stay again tho!
Hotel Phillips Kansas City, Curio Collection by Hilton is an iconic hotel with an illustrious past. Originally built in 1930, this hotel was once the tallest building in town, standing 20 stories high and boasting 400 guest rooms...
