Just finished my second stay here. Great place (others have spoken to that) with a sense of style and helpful staff. You can cross the street and be in Lincoln Park for walks. Bus convenient. Love it
A vintage-style hotel. The area is safe, staff are friendly! The rooms are small yet clean, furniture and the elevator are made to look "old", but I enjoyed my stay here. Would highly recommend!
Great hotel! Lincoln park across the street, Lake Michigan a short walk away. Roof top bar with a view of the skyline, coffee shop in the lobby. Friendly staff and they allow dogs!
There are two bathrooms in this room. Use one for doing makeup and looking at your hair. Use the other for taking a bath. (The bathtubs are really clean.)

A Mad Men–meets–The Brady Bunch–style lobby, with tweed upholstered furniture and bow-tied bellhops, welcomes you to this refurbished 1928 property opposite the park.
Tiny rooms with paper-thin walls—you hear everytging! While the decor was nice and the staff were great, it’s very hard to believe this is actually a 4-star hotel.
I was in a hurry. I thought I knew the city but Echo Limousine's driver took me on short-cuts I never knew. (I can picture him paddling car down the river!) 773-774-1074
Rooms are cold.AC is not heating up the room and is huge noise source. Toilet sliding door doesn’t close with a massive crack between it and the wall. Water doesn’t go down in the shower. Horrible :(

The room was tiny and poorly constructed. Our window frame was bent on install so snow blew in all night onto the inner sill. The bathroom is small and lacks a fan. You pay for location- not comfort.
Good location and friendly staff pros. Cons what they call a “suite upgrade”. Rooms needed to be gutted and redone. Not sure what rooms were on the website, but mine was definitely not one of them.
Hotelstaff is very nice! Good location, bus stop is close to hotel as well as the zoo. However I found a bug in my bed! :( but they were quick to send someone to checkit out and change my bed sheets.
When we stayed here they told us the water was gonna be shut off on a Monday and it was actually off on Tuesday. We were not informed of this so I suggest making sure before paying & checking in.
Terrence at the front desk is rude, incredibly dismissive. Walls are thin, bathroom is a broom closet with no door and zero exhaust fan. Traffic noise is intolerable due to thin windows. Stay away.
