- H QMarch 23, 2013I really wanted to like this place! I loved the atmosphere and the payment system...but the food quality was really sub par.
- Order the moist end of the lean cut brisket, a side of cool cucumbers and a jalapeno link - seating at the bar downstairs is best, ask for Ezra Brooks.
- roodie 4sqMay 4, 2014Asked for tabel said I had to leave in 1.5 hours..out of brisket, prime rib and mac n cheese and waitress over charged me $15 on the bill! Not sure if I'm coming back.
- Joe MassaAugust 27, 2011Go easy on the sides, they will really hurt your wallet, after all you came here for the MEAT.
- stephiedooJanuary 4, 2010Recession Specia! All-You-Can-Eat Monday nights for $25. Combo deals on Sunday nights for $20 ($7 for kids). Great deals.
- Jon TApril 3, 2012Do yourself a favor: hop the L to BK and go to Fette Sau for a vastly superior BBQ meal.
- Smoked brisk moist galore. Live music is also great. Read more

- The only truly annoying thing about this place is they don't give free refills on fountain drinks. What's up with that? Also they charge for pickles and onions, unbecoming for a TX BBQ joint IMHO!
- J DubsJune 27, 2011The food is too salty for my taste and warning, it's market style. This means you get your own food. Also beware of which sides you get with the Sunday pit combo bc they might charge extra.
- Before I could finish asking the server what his favorite side was- he answered "corn pudding"
