Great schnitzel! Tried the Warsteiner Dark Lager and found a new favorite beer. Also got to enjoy a performance by Shelvis of Shelvis & the Roustabouts!

I've lived in Germany twice and while this place wouldn't beat your favorite gasthaus, it is pretty damn solid. Worth a stop for sure. I had the rahmschnitzel, knockwurst, and both kinds of spaetzle.

have been going to Helga's since before they moved to their current location and enjoying the German specialties every time. If the pork/ham shank shows up as a special, make sure to try it!!!

Their food is great, the atmosphere is fun and inviting. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Plus they have a German deli in the same building! It's a must go

Had a good schnitzel, bier, and pumpkin/sweet potato strudel. Disappointing was the whipped cream. It seemed like a diet Reddi-Whip, not a fresh cream. Also, the dessert menu needs Spaghetti Eis!!!

Everything! From the hot mulled wine, to the pretzel with beer cheese to the schnitzel sliders, also the house dressing a must!

The pretzel and beer cheese were great. We tried the cola beer and it tastes like haribo cola candy! Service was fantastic as well.

The dark of winter beer sampler is awesome! The Reuben is delicious too! Try the broccoli as a side. Helga's has the best broccoli! :)

Try the Cherry Strudel - Light & flaky. Didn't need the a la mode, but the French Vanilla ice cream was delish too!! (via @Foodspotting)
