Haru can use better hosts but the table service is outstanding as usual. Sit at the sushi bar for faster service or when dining solo. The sushi lunch special with spicy tuna roll always hits the spot.
The "Sake Hour" is a great deal for food & drinks, but the service at the bar was weak & the fish taste a little off. Skip the yellowtail tartare & the spicy salmon roll. The cocktails are delicious!
If you're going to order the 2 person entree don't order apps. So much food, enough for 3 people! But it's delish this spot has a great atmosphere! :) will definitely be back.
Haru Broadway is a theater district standout. Its sharp interior, featuring an eye-catching bamboo ‘wall’ that separates the dining room from the sushi bar, is matched by a sophisticated but smartly-priced menu for Japanese cuisine connoisseurs and first-timers alike.
