hanneku: Super lunchy food, great cafe area and lovely owners. A bit prizy, but they do their own coffee in the basement which is kinda cool. They also got a great shop at Bjølsen called Bjølsen bakeri.
hanneku: I love the tiles these guys do! The shop is a bit off the beaten path, but could be combined with a trip by Akerselva and waffles at Hønse Lovisas-hus. Quite expensive, but this is art!

hanneku: Liebling wins on charm, food and staff. Go there, and visit their other place called Kanskje kommer kongen in an old folks home close by later on. Buy some funny stuff from Germany in their shop too.
hanneku: This is my favorite place ever. Not necessarily because of the funny shop, nice food or coffee, but because it's inside an old folk's home. Top dollar idea! Did I mention the juke box and piano? Go.
hanneku: Nice mezeh menu, friendly look with board games and weekly quiz. The smoothies and falafel are my favourites. Their falafel was recently voted as best in town.

Vintage and Thrift Store · Grünerløkka øst · 2 tips and reviews
hanneku: The Salvation Army's 2nd hand stores always got something to offer. You find them around town, but the Grünerløkka store is the most fashion oriented.
hanneku: Spacious and sunny outside area. Play pool inside and drink beer. Old, wooden typical Norwegian building. They don't sell food, just snacks, but allow you to bring some as long as it's not too greasy
hanneku: Drinks, shuffle board and lots of space. Tends to get super busy anyway, so get there early or queue up. They also host a vide range of cultural events and a nice cafe at day. The Puroslo cakes=yum!
hanneku: Classic scandinavian looked department clothing. Both girls/boys wear. Sells cheap monday, their own brand and some selected cheaper design lines. Affordable.
