It's everything you'd expect of a beer stube and everything you wouldn't expect. Old and trendy. Beers - lots of good beers - and delicious Nordic food
We went here for the event, Bryggeribråk. An event where breweries duel on making the best beer for a 3-course dinner. This was a lot of fun, educational and VERY tasty!
You like beer? Pick your fav on the draft! Food menu is simple but good, overall a lovely place to have a drink, some Scandinavian food and catch up with friends!
Huge selection of local beers. They have 2 lists, so make sure you get the right one. Draft beer selection only one page with about 20 choices. Another one is 7 pages long (bottle beer).
Seriously large beer menu. Large amount of scandinavian craft beers, some of them a bit weird, most of them really good. The food is great to, but you can come here just for the beer :)
On the plus side: Great beers and delicious local dishes. On the negative side: We found a toxic lead shotgun pellet in our Fasan. Service shrugged it off "It's sometimes hard to find them all".
Great food, great staff and great beers. If you enjoy beer from all over the world, this is the place to go, when in Oslo, Norway. It's simply amazing!
This place has built a great following of craft beer fans in the last couple of years, but I hear rumours this may all be set back by a new regime more keen on bums on seats and generic lager.
Håndverkerstuene is both a great restuarant, with Norwegian food on the menu, and a great place for craft beer. They have six taps with Norwegian craft beers: Ægir, Nøgne Ø and Haandbryggeriet. Read more
Fancy place but not as good as it is in the past commentaries. The waiters were distanced. Food is ok. Not much choice as I expected. But the place itself looks authentic.
