Halsted Bernard: Simply put, this is my favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. The food, service, and ambience are all outstanding. Most dishes are naturally gluten-free, and the staff is very accommodating. Wonderful.
Halsted Bernard: They always have interesting burger and hot dog specials but I keep coming back for their cheeseburger. The gluten-free buns are delicious. Service is friendly and fast. This is my top burger joint!
Halsted Bernard: Tasty burgers with interesting ingredient combos. A gluten-free menu is available, as are gluten-free buns, which are too dry and crumbly for my taste. The bacon aioli is devastatingly good.

Halsted Bernard: Outstanding hot and sour soup. They'll make almost anything on their menu gluten-free, which in Chinese cuisine is no mean feat. Try the Cantonese-style sweet and sour chicken!
Halsted Bernard: This was our favorite place for curry takeaway during our stay in Edinburgh. Excellent food at reasonable prices, and exemplary service. I'm sad that it has since closed.
Halsted Bernard: The first time I came here, I didn't expect the menu here to be so varied and interesting, but it always is. The cocktails are terrific, and the atmosphere is cosy and warm.

Halsted Bernard: Wonderful little place with great ambience and friendly service -- and now with gluten-free bagels and a separate toaster to prevent contamination! Turkey, cranberry, brie is my favourite combination.
Lauriston Place (Green Police Box) (Middle Meadow Walk), Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh
Creperie · 12 tips and reviews
Halsted Bernard: Tupiniquim serves naturally gluten-free crepes with a tasty variety of fillings and sauces. There's usually a wait but it is well worth it. Grab a crepe and munch as you stroll across the Meadows!
Halsted Bernard: The smoothies are delicious, and nearly everything on the menu can be made gluten-free as they keep gluten-free bread on hand. Lots of gluten-free cakes, too.
