Sasabune is a great place for a business lunch. You’re in and out quickly and the food quality is tops. We loved the blue crab roll, cheers to sushi chef Kenji Takahashi one of the best in the city.
Freshness is the name of the game when it comes to sushi. The lobster tempura was outstanding, and for those who aren’t fish-lovers, the breast of duckling was extremely tender and perfectly flavored.
Can’t go wrong with 2 for 1 drink specials all day, seven days a week! Sake and Amaebi sushi sounded good to us!
Nobu has been a staple of the neighborhood for years, and it’s obvious why. It is evident that every dish is cared for – our all-time favorite is the black cod miso, a masterful blend of flavoring.
When in the mood for Japanese or just seafood in general Aburiya is the perfect place. We always get started off with the super-fresh crab salad, and our favorite entrée is the miso cod.
Useful to know that in the dining room and sushi bar area, only the Tasting menu is available, you can not order a la carte.
Just as nice in person as it is on Anthony Bourdain's show "The Layover," love the embedded electric grills in the table, when grilling make sure you choose Mr. Inoue’s pepper paste…incredible.
