The fries and pita sandwiches are amazing. The chicken shawarma pita sandwich with 911 sauce is possibly my favorite food in the whole city.
This place puts Ibbeys on Grove St to shame in both the food and customer service categories. Better quality/quantity for price. Super friendly staff. Far shorter wait time. Excellent menu.
Lamb kebab is to die for! Order the Sampler Platter for 2 light eaters...more than enough!
I don't know what it is about their hummus, but it's so addictive, fresh and unique! I crave it weekly, no joke. No store bought hummus compares. You'd be hard pressed to spend $5 better than their chicken shawarma sandwich. So good!
Much better than the Ibby's in Jersey City. Great portions, fair prices, and very nice gentlemen that work there. The lamb/beef is very tasty, and the hot sauce is HOT. The Babaghanouge is worth a try- Their prices rock, the falafel is addictive. Don't forget to try their amazing lentil soup too!

The chicken schwafel might be the greatest thing in the history of the world.
Get the chicken & lamb lunch box combo and tell them to warm the pita! Try a mango or strawberry drink from the fridge!
Gypsy grill is the best! Friendly fast service and no homophobia like some other Middle Eastern eatery on Grove St.
I haven't found a better falafel in Jersey City. Get it with everything.. you'll thank me later.
