1. Fredericksburg Pie Company
Greg Yardley: This is where you come in town for pie. Never had a bad one, but I'm especially fond of the pecan.
2. Hondo's On Main
Greg Yardley: On Sunday afternoons, listen to live Gospel music while having a couple of drinks and eating a tasty burger. Incredibly mellow, friendly scene.
3. Hilda's Tortillas
4. Buffalo Nickel
5. Ausländer Biergarten & Restaurant
Greg Yardley: Probably the best selection of German beers in town. For food, get a sausage plate.
6. pink pig
7. Clear River Ice Cream Bakery Deli
8. Hill Country Herb Garden
9. Cabernet Grill Texas Wine Country Restaurant
10. Mahaley's Cafe & Coffees & Pastries
Greg Yardley: There's other breakfast taco places in town, but this one's good, walkable, and central.
11. Navajo Grill
12. Sunset Grill American Bistro
13. Andys Steak and Seafood Grille
Greg Yardley: Never been in the evening, but Andy's is the place I go to for a tasty, egg-filled diner breakfast.
14. Hill Country Donuts and Kolaches
15. Alamo Springs Cafe
16. Otto's German Bistro
Greg Yardley: I think I've been to every restaurant in Fredericksburg by now. This one is the best.
