- Cole TApril 18, 2019Bar has a great vibe with homey interior/basement + outdoor patio. Bullet hole from Elliot Ness himself still adorns the side wall (covered in plexiglass). Beer is obviously great—it’s a classic!Upvoted 6 days ago
- Bin YangJuly 7, 2015Sack up and get the full flight. For food, start off with the local & fresh plate with creamy cheeses and smoky meats. Follow up with some fish and chips, rich buckeye burger or pretzel chicken.
- Jenn MOctober 19, 2014Their pumpkin beer is delish. (So is their everyday Eddie Fitz.) The bread pudding was awesome and I will be coming back to have it again once Xmas Ale comes back.
- The TravelerAugust 30, 2018Really good burger. Beer is fantastic. Atmosphere is great. It’s like stepping back in time.I wish I had a pub like this near me. A must stop if your in the Cleveland area.
- Erik CintronSeptember 30, 2013This was a live bar filled with a great selection of local brew, brewed in house. The food was surprisingly good. It had TVs and nice crowd. A shop next store so you can buy ur fav beer or souvenir.
- Debbie CrowlJune 1, 2018The bratwurst and pierogi plate was delicious. Didn't expect to lime the braised cabbage, but loved it! Had the Holy Moses Raspberry White Ale with it. Perfect beer for a hot day.
- Kim RottetJanuary 14, 2014I love that they have beer/food pairing suggestions. It is a great place in a fun section of Ohio City. Parking can be a little bit of a pain, but valet is available if you don't want to walk.
- Try the Buckeye Burger. Don't let the description fool you. The Chocolate BBQ sauce is like a Mexican mole--not sweet. The peanut butter is subtle. Together they make this burger delicious!
- It's not just for beer. Lots of local ingredients, sustainable practices, generous to nonprofits. Love the pretzel chicken, fish and cups, pierogi and brat, turkey club, meat and cheese tray
- Ivo TzvetkovAugust 12, 2019Cleveland’s oldest brewery is a great place to grab lunch. Enjoy some of the Pub exclusive beers in the space where Eliot Ness spent much of his time after work. You can also schedule a tour.
- Jake SmithJuly 28, 2013Grab a growler or jug and take some of this delicious beer home with you. It's a little pricey, but it's also the freshest Great Lakes Brewing Co. beer you can buy.
- The cellar downstairs is a nice place to sit to get away from the crowd upstairs. Love all the beer!
- Chris VodolaAugust 24, 2015Solid brews with good food. Nothing will blow you away, but you're at the source so enjoy. You'll find more exotic stuff down in Akron at Hoppin Frog.
- Whitni WilliamsonJanuary 16, 2018Great beer and delicious food!! The Old World burger will not disappoint. Try a beer flight! Love the white ale and Belgian tripel!

- One of the best brewing companies in the world. Their brewpub is ranked one of the best in the world as well. Food is fantastic and ambience is of a prohibition era speak-easy...Very cool!
- The Tater Tots make an even better appetizer than side dish. Get them with the Stilton Cheddar Soup for dipping!
- They have several beers on tap here that you can't get anywhere else. The Edmund Fitzgerald ice cream is fantastic.
- JustinSeptember 18, 2013Great place to go before Indian's games. Highly suggest the local appetizer and beer sampler.

- Courtney NorwoodJuly 20, 2010Great beer and food to be had! I love the 'Old World Burger' because the bun is made from pretzel dough, and it's so good! I usually like to get 'Burning River' or 'Edmund Fitzgerald' beers. Read more

- Jonathan SullivanAugust 7, 2014Eliot Ness is one of my favorite standbys, but most of of Great Lakes' brews are well crafted.
- Douglas SwoopeFebruary 18, 2011Great staff, even added my discount at the end of the meal! Easy place to hang out an enjoy a pint, or chill with a beautiful Madam (MRO)... :)

- Jeannie ReedOctober 9, 2013I thought they weren't doing the Christmas Ale this year. I know a few who will be very happy that they are.
- Men's Health MagNovember 17, 2011Bullet holes. That’s what you have here. They’re in the 1930s-looking taproom and reportedly came from the gun of famed Prohibition agent Elliot Ness. So, why not down a few Elliot Ness Amber Lagers?
