    Well .... If the heat had been working in the facilities I'm sure we would have loved every minute. As a tourist ... Not a local ... It was hard to keep smiling and freezing! Awesome natural beauty!

    Been here 10+ times
    An average of over 500" of snow a year. Take the high speed quad Dream Catcher up to the top and take the short hike up Mary's Nipple and pick your line down into the open bowl.

    If you feel like a mellow hike, try Lightening Trail to Lightening loop. Great views, mellow ascent, 5.5 miles round trip from the base of Grand Targhee.

    Hike Bannock trail to see amazing views of the Tetons. Then ride the chairlift down for free. The hike is 2.5 miles one way.

    Great place, beautiful and no crowd ... You need to eat lunch at Branding Iron. Great coffee at Snorkels.
