Vegan Mexican rest. is very rare. Food was delicious. Loved their Cashew Cream. Highly recommend Gorditas and Pazole. No complimentary chips. Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita was spicy & refreshing.
I could eat guacamole anywhere, but I like that they serve it here with warm tortillas rather than the usual chips. Try the hominy. Fruit cocktails are a great accompaniment to the meal.
All of the food is so packed with bold flavor, you won't even notice the menu is completely vegan. Don't miss the Coliflor Frito or famed Quesadilla de Camote and read more on WinstonWanders below!! Read more
I literally can't wait to return & could have easily ordered every item on the menu. creamy horchata, deep mole, cashew cheese, coconut bacon, Sangria... cool spot and friendly staff. VEGANWIN. 🥑🌮🌱
One of the most tasty restaurants in the city, vegan or no. A bit of a wait around dinnertime. Get the quesadillas de camote, though beware—they are seriously filling. Save room for the mole.
Food is on point - start with the Totopos + Guacamole and end with the Peach Cobbler. Pro-tips: add coconut bacon to your tacos and skip the green "juice" (it's a lemony, watery hot mess)
Give their chilaquiles (tortilla chips simmered in a spicy tomato salsa, drizzled with cashew crema, cilantro & avocado, served with black beans), the open face enchiladas, & the peach cobbler a try. Read more
This is the best vegan/vegetarian restaurant I've tried! Delicious food, great service & comfortable environment. You gotta try the Totopos! Hands up! 🙌🏼😋
Such delicious vegan food options - you can't tell the difference! This spot is pretty crowded just like Los Angeles, but worth the wait. Go and put your name down and get your taste buds ready!
I can only describe the vegan Mexican food of Gracias Madre as a truly unexpected experience of culinary genius. Regardless of if you're a vegan, go for it. You won't be sorry. Read more
Fantastic vegan mexican food. The best! Really enjoyed the Tamale and the bowl. Food was full of flavor, yet still not very heavy like a lot of mexican restaurants tend to be. Highly recommended.
Awesome food, spotty service. We got seated before another party that shared the table with us, but they got their food first. Free guac and tortilla appetizers but they also forgot to give to us.
This vegan Mexican spot is as popular as the day the handsome metal grates opened. Items like the open faced enchiladas and mashed black beans prove that the food can bridge the carnivore divide. Read more
One of the best vegetarian restaurants in town. Amazing food & atmosphere. You cant go wrong w any order. Try Brussel sprouts while you wait for the main course
I used to really love this place, my recent visits have yielded abrasive waiters, entrees being served before apps & half the table waiting while the other half eats. Those tortillas though... Perfect
Sangria is great and the mushrooms were really well cooked. That's all good I have to say. They try to make their vegan food delish by deep frying everything!
Unlike EVERYWHERE else, you're not allowed to sit at the bar to bypass waiting for tables. The bartender will tell you testily to go see the hostess. The food is great, though.
Mmm, Quesadillas de Calabaza. Warm butternut squash and caramelized onions fill two fluffy tortillas, while the house-made cashew nacho cheese and pumpkin seed salsa make this dish entrée-worthy.
Sweet potato quesadilla big enough to be a dinner in itself! You'll be seated at large tables with other parties - I think that's kind of cool, but not everyone's scene.
Peach habanero margarita, Quesadilla appetizer and chilequiles FTW! Had no idea it was vegan when I arrived. Perfect 10. My date got some big point for bringing me here :)
"High-end Mexican fare, showcasing only natural ingredients in meat- and cheese-free enchiladas, gorditas, and tacos. Even the most obnoxious of omnivores can get down with quesadillas de camote."
Food blogger Genie Gratto says, “Don’t miss the enchiladas con mole, which are topped with cashew cheese so good you won’t believe it’s made from nuts! They also make fabulous guacamole"
