- Claire MApril 5, 2018The airport is probably bigger than you realise, leave plenty time to get to your gate. A quick pint in the Sanderling is tradition. WiFi is free for the first hour and easy to set up.Upvoted Aug 15

- Adam B.September 30, 2017The cheapest way to/from the airport is take a bus 757 McGill's to Paisley Gilmour Street and then train to Glasgow Central. It costs only 3,5£ and takes around 35 minutes.Upvoted Aug 12
- If getting picked up and your lift is late, get them to pick you up in the holiday inn car park - it's free for 15 minutes and warmer to wait at
- The fastest airport you'll ever use. It takes me about 7 mins to get from the door to the gate. This is including luggage check in, passport and security checks. Similarly on the way out 5min max
- If you arrive at domestics and are getting picked up at the drop off walk all the way along the check-in desks and exit at international arrivals to stay inside from the elements for a little longer
- Franky and bunnies is good to grab something to eat while waiting and if your in a hurry let them know and they'll rush you through
- Have always loved this airport. Pleasure is dramatically increased if you have two yellow roses from your husband's Mum sticking out of your purse. :-)

- Jacob Van De WeertSeptember 25Weirdly no water fountains, but plenty of pubs to grab a whisky or coffee and graciously ask your bartender for a pre-flight bottle fill up.
- When two loonie's tried to drive bombs into the terminal several years ago it was Glaswegian taxi drivers who crashed into them and then pulled them out for a few punches!

- 2014 prices: Taxi to city around £22, Bus £8.50 return (within a month) or £6.50 one way. Dodgy taxis are cheaper, possibly, but risk dodgy behaviour.

- Every flight should start from Glasgow airport, no queue getting through security during Monday morning commuter rush hour :-) pah, who needs heathrow
- The immigration counters for non-EU passports upon arrival have increased. So now non-EU tourists and students will not have to spend hours waiting to get through the immigration!
- The arrivals area was bit small, disappointing and the airport is very busy. Departure area full with food options. Security area just works.
- Good airport, lots of places to eat, never too crowded....

- Marci S.May 6, 2013Update on the shuttle bus: 6 one way, 8 return, free wifi. No credit cards (despite the signs) at the time of my visit. 20 minutes or less to the centre.
- Checkin in for Emirates flights and asked for cheeky upgrade. Wasnt available but got better offer... Put into airport hotel D B&B t + 2 free rtn flights to Mauritius...Don't ask don't get .

- Philippe LouJune 14, 2017Small airport. Enough shops to make tourist shopping. Not long lines, easy to access gates.
- Park at the BP garage if you are waiting to pick someone up. If the police see you waiting in the Drop Off zone you will be given a ticket!
- On departure gates use the meal-deal of boots it's for 3,79 one of the cheapest.
