For the love of God, get the strawberry butter! One of the best things I've ever had. Pancakes are fluffy and light & the sugar cured bacon is amazing. I want to cry because this meal is so good.
These seasonal blueberry pancakes, served with fresh maple syrup and strawberry butter, were so fluffy and delicious! The blueberries were so refreshing and tasted fresh off the farm. Read more
Try the Wall Street omelette for a sweet ham and cheese combo - remember to tell them to firm up the eggs as default is "runny". Swapbiscuits for toast to keep it traditional.
This is my favorite breakfast spot so far! It was really nice of them to offer little bites while we were waiting to be seated. (and it was only 10 min) :) The pancakes are to die for! I'll be back!
Had delicious bananawalnutpancakes with strawberry butter and a fabulous Bloody Mary with sugar cured bacon. Can't wait to go back for some biscuits and the the Astoria omelette. Two thumbs up!
Fantastic pancakes, multigrain w/walnuts and bananas, perfectly balanced in weight and air, real maple syrup. Homemade cakes looked great but a little disappointing, but highly recommend for breakfast
Specials are amazing but do your best to save room for their great desserts. Obviously one of the most popular brunch spots in the city so give yourself 30+ mins & good friends to wait for a table.
Tried the seasonal blueberry pancakes that everyone raves about and they were extremely good! Unfortunately one of my pancakes was really undercooked but hey, everyone makes mistakes. Friendly staff!
We stayed in line to get in around 40 minutes. But it was worth it as we had the best breakfast ever. We went there twice and I will definitely go again on my next visit to NYC!
Breakfast food! The French toast is delicious! Coffee is great. Outside seating! Full bar. Bartender made one of the best old fashioned's I've ever had! Great place!
Ordered the tuna melt, and the veggie burger + onion rings & corn bread. Tuna melt & veggie burger were a bit on the bland side. The corn bread on the other hand was one of the best we've ever had!

It was well worth the wait for brunch! I don't even like strawberries but the strawberry butter was amazing. It looks like it's straight out of VT which is the highest of compliments.
I can't say enough good things. No brunch in NYC can live up to a cup of coffee and an order of bacon waffles in a cozyhomey corner of Good Enough to Eat.
Just had the Silver Dollar Pancakes with an extra side of bacon. When you visit, and you should, get the bacon. And the pancakes. Again. The bacon. And the pancakes.
Everything I tried was amazing, but my favorite is the corned beef hash. Let the egg yoke mix in your potatoes and beef, you'll thank me later :) the French toasts are always excellent too.
GETE is an NYC staple, serving the UWS since 1981. Head here for a well made Bloody Mary with Maytag bleu cheese stuffed olives to accompany your traditional brunch choices.
Happy to wait in line for a moment of "wonderful" with those magical bacon waffles and cheesy grits. The 8th wonder of the world when it comes to breakfast!
PumpkinFrench toast is unique and delicious. Omelettes are good, but you can get an omelette anywhere. The biscuits and strawberry butter are soooo flavorful. Yumm.
Come here for the kind of restaurant food that doesn’t taste like restaurant food at all. The eggs and pancakes are unpretentiously good, but the biscuits and strawberry butter totally steal the show. Read more

Ate there twice during our trip to NYC - food is really good, biu the portions are too huge - it might be good idea to share if u r not used to eat big heavy b-fasts.
Be cautious that they currently have a "C" rating even though their sign says "grade pending"...I loved the vegetablemountain dish before I found that out
The breakfast is delicious - although not wait-in-line-for-45minutes delicious? Go some weekday morning for all of the tastiness and none of the crowds.
worth the wait, best breakfast I have had in nyc! the place inside is chilled, the wait stafffriendly, deserts crazy good. don't worry the line moves fast!
