One of the best hotel customer service experiences I've ever had. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Very cool, highly detailed decor. Wifi hit-or-miss.
Nice place very well located few blocks away from the Empire State. Has a great coffee shop next to it to stop for a quick breakfast. Suggestion: Fix the elevator... is like slowest on earth!

For art lovers, you should check out the art surrounding the Lobby and the orange room; for coffee drinkers, buy a coffer at Birch and enjoy it the library. You'll love it here.
Not a bad hotel for an old hotel... Great location and rooms are quiet, but they are a bit ordinary and small. Air-conditioner was only in one room and it was really noisy. It's cheap!
Cheap for NYC but while it was clean when we checked in, the staff didn't really do much beyond making the beds. No clean towels, toilet paper and never picked up/cleaned the bathroom.
